Hi krys! Poor baby girl :( - hope she gets better soon.
We're meeting more often compared to last year (2x), without rhyme or reason. Another member is moving from Alaska to south sound around October. We'll probably organize another get together before the holiday season.... ~ Lisa

I dont know much about it, but I would love to go on the 7th and see everybody! So which park is it at? One in seattle? Ive never been to a dog park before to tell the truth, and dont know much about them. :confused: Ive heard of a marrymore park, and was planning on taking Tupp there sometime soon, is that the park that you guys are planning for?

Hi Meribeth!
This is the first time we're NOT meeting at Marymoor Park. We'll be at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood (South Tacoma). If you scroll up a bit in the thread, you'll see the location and link to a map. Don't worry about not being a dog park - this is more like a recreational park. Some dogs will be on, some off leash. And people walking, jogging and biking. Because Tuppence is still a baby :p, make certain has 3rd round of shots before going to any park. Anxious to meet you and Tuppence !

Hmm, well Tuppy got her second round of shots on the 20th, and our vet says to give them 3 rounds of shots every 3 weeks, so she wont have her 3rd round of shots till the 10th.

Other than that everything sounds great, South Tacoma is a longer drive but we could still probably do it.

Ask your vet what they think... I would hate for anything to happen to Tuppence, like parvo :(. And.. south end of Tacoma is far, but it'll be a good time for sure ! Besides... I'm certain we'll organize another get together before the year is out! ~ Lisa

Long story short, she's getting better. She started throwing up, then stopped eating and then stopped drinking water. She was extremely lethargic, which is completely uncharacteristic for her. So was the not eating or taking water from me. I was worried!! It was about a week agao that it all started. She had to get IV fluids on Monday, all day, and a host of other things. But, we're improving with each passing day............

That is unusual, poor baby :(. Diego and I sending prayers of get well wishes & sound health in order to play next week!

Well I dont know much about shots either, this being my first puppy and all, but we will call the vets tomorrow morning and see if we couldnt get them earlier.
This will be soo much fun if it works out! Tuppence kidney beans at the idea of seeing all the other boxers and maybe roughin them up a bit! Mwahahaha! :rolleyes:
:eek: Tuppence got into the spagetti(sp?)!!!! Shes got it all over her white boxer hair! Bath time for puppy I guess.

Tuppence, silly girl !

I've been hearing a rumor that cases of Parvo is on the rise again - it's just too risky for Tuppence :(. Plus, Diego hurt himself pretty bad - torn ligament. He won't be able to play :( - but we'll be at the entrance to greet people. I have a family BBQ later on so, we'll be down there regardless. Have you been to the vets yet? ~ Lisa
