I was a regular here for about a year, then changed computers and forgot both my password and the email address I had signed up with:) LOL. Finally figured it out, and I am BACK!

I have missed this place so much. All of the information and help and support in dealing with out wonderful smooshyfaces!

Anyway, I live in Florida, I have Mac the plain fawn boxer (born May 13 2002) and Moe the Bulldog (born Feb 14 2002). I also have 6 horses (2 are PMUs, which I learned about through BW). AND for the next 2 weeks I am baby-sitting my sister's Great Dane/Lab mix. Quite a group at my house for the moment.

I was in law school, but after being miserably unhappy for 2 years, gaining 60 lbs, and just, well being miserable, I quit. I plan to return in a few years, but am taking some time off to see what I really want to do with my life. And to get happy:) S0, I am substitute teaching.

Um...I think that is it for now, the pics of my babies should still bein the gallery.

SO GLAD TO BE BACK!!!

How do you like substitute teaching and what ages? I'm a teacher. (o:

I am actually just starting - just got my card that allows me to do it, but I am hoping for high school mainly. I am also applying for a teaching certificate, but even though I qualify for one with my Bachelors I am not sure if I would actually get HIRED! So, we'll see.
I know I disappeared from FBR. After my first foster (Caiman) died, I decided I was a jinx and just couldn't deal with it. Then I was going to do a home visit, got REALLY sick, and disappeared again. Blah.
What do you teach and do you like it?

Welcome back. I am a retired teacher. I loved teaching. I taught kindergarten for 24 years. I have one daughter teachin Jr. High, and another in school to become a teacher. I retired to take care of my ill mother. It is a very rewarding job. Good luck substituting. I sub now and then for my friends. I enjoy that too.

Welcome back....sounds like you have your hands full and then some!! We are babysitting our friends pit bull (6 months old) who is almost as big as our two with 10 times the energy!! Will think of you everytime i say "NO"....through the holidays to the furkids!!
