Soo sorry to hear about Sadie's parting. Having gone through this myself, I KNOW your pain.

Once you're past the shock, do you and your family a favor and get yourselves another boxer pup or a rescue. It was the best advice the breeder gave me when my first boxer passed. She said not to wait too long and although it would never replace the one that's gone, it would be a nice distraction so you're not dwelling too too much. Helps ease the pain a little and you'll have another one to bestow some love on.
