Sad story

I was at the pet store today and heard 2 cashiers telling a story of a dog(not sure of breed) that died while a docter was doing surgery on it. The thing that gets me is it was for a sales presentation at the Cleveland clinic, not a surgery the dog needed. The poor dog was just for demonstration...how maddening. There are ways of demonstrating surgery products without using a living breathing thing. I guess PETA was trying to get the demonstration stopped but no such luck. I just looked at my boys and was sad that a dog was subjected to that. I am sorry for being a downer but I just needed to share this with people who would understand my feelings
On a good note a got lots of new toys and treats for my boys tonight and hugged them both a little tighter when I got home

I heard this story on the radio. The dog was given an aneurism on purpose in order to demonstrate some kind of surgical equipment. The dog died. All for some sort of sales demonstration. What a waste. I'm sure they could have found a better way to show how their equipment works. :(

should have done the demo on the sales rep!!!!!!! and the Vet who used the equipment.
