Poor dog! Would your DH not let you take her just long enough so you can find her a good home? That way some nut who just comes across their "free ad" can't get her.

Nevermind! I just went thru & read your updates. Guess I should've done that before replying so quickly!!
Hopefully the dogs current owners will change their minds & keep her since she doesn't have too many years left.

If you feel comfortable following up with her, you may want to just let her know that if she contacts us, we can go ahead and get the dog on the waiting list.

Not sure why we are so busy. We do have some adoptions pending so maybe some foster homes will open up soon.
