I couldn't find the thread that I started a couple weeks ago. I think there is a way to find it, but I can't figure it out now.
Anyway, I started a thread about our 14 month old boxer that had a slimey discharge and swollen privates since she was in heat in Sept. We took her to a new vet and he said these symptoms could be normal for her. (I didn't really care for his answer) So, we took her back to our old vet. This vet said she had had a false pregnancy and some type of infection, so Ruby was put on antibiotics. Well, she is all better now!
Her swelling has gone down and she no longer has a discharge. Yae!!!! AND, she is playing more and not sleeping so much.
It pays to get an second opinion! Thanks for everyone's comments on the last thread. I'm so glad that we got a second opinion!!
