Anyone out there try this for their babies? My baby has a sensitive tummy and we have her on a good kibble now (on paper) however, her TUMMY is miserable.

The product is a great concept but has corn and wheat gluten in it. My boxers cannot tolerate either ( I think this is common) so I wouldn't even consider it.

I switched to raw (BARF) last December and had fantastic results in two days. Stools firmed up and no more gas or vomiting, less output too!!

It's not a great quality food, and it contains several of the most common ingredients that cause tummy upsets and allergy problems in dogs. Since your boy already suffers from that, I wouldn't expect the RC Boxer food to be a good bet for him (and in any case, it's not great nutrition).

What do you currently have her on? Even if it's a good quality food, there's nothing yet invented that suits every single dog irrespective of it's quality. Possibly we could make a few alternative suggestions.

I have Wilma and Emmett on Royal Canin Products and they are both doing great. I tried Wilma on Wellness, Chicken Soup and Nutro Ultra without success. Wilma did not eat for 2 entire days while we tried the Nutro. I realize RC is not at the top nutritionally, but it does agree with my dogs. I supplement Wilma with fresh meat occasionally and have not had a problem. Her coat is beautiful and she never has intestinal issues. Good Luck.

My guy is doing really good on it. He actually chews his food because the way it is shaped. His gas is alot less smelly.

SOLID GOLD King Wolf...

Rocco has a very sensitive stomach and I thought, ROYAL CANIN for boxers...must be great. I tried him on it, and his stomach was worse then when I had him on SD. Not only was his stool complete liquid (sorry for the graphic), but he had the worst gas ever. I fed this to him for a month or so and finally got tired of having to get the house out everytime he went to the bathroom. I was able to return the unused portion to the store and get my money back which worked out great. I have since been feeding Rocco Solid Gold King Wolf. He loves it, and although there seems to be alot coming out when he goes, his stool has been solid. I also mixed in canned pumpkin (100%) which helped with the food switch and may be the cause for the excesive amount of waste.

Good luck in making your decision, BW has some great threads that can help you figure out what will work best for you and your pup.

We put Hugo on RC Boxer when he started having problems on the Nutro Natural Choice. He would vomit every single morning and his vet thought it was the food. He loves the Royal Canin Boxer food. (he also gets some wellness canned mixed in) Hugo is a finniky eater so if we can find one he really likes, that is pretty healthy we go with it. It's not at the absolute top of the 'premium' dog food list, but it's far from the bottom. (look at all the crap at the grocery store)
