Boxer Insane
My husband has these weekly poker parties and they take place at various homes. This past Saturday the 1st was his turn so he had about 8 friends over. I have known most of these guys for quite some time, but there were two I had not met before. I usually say Hi and disappear to my computer or bedroom with Mia and Lola Kitty who are not very sociable. Rocky of course loves to be the center of attention and wiggles for all the guys.
To make a long story short I heard laughter and then a cat crying...then came Rocky's bark followed by a growl (I had never heard him do this before) and then shouting. When I ran over I saw one of the guys holding his hand and it was bleeding. My husband Eddie was red faced and hold Rocky back who was very upset and still barking like mad and his friend whom I have known for years was holding my new cat Coco. Apparently "genius" decided it would be funny to spin Coco around on the floor and make her very dizzy to see her stumble off (he does this with his cat!). Rocky thinks Coco is HIS pet...when she cried out not liking being held to the floor and spun Rocky attacked. His hand required 6 stitches. The incident was reported though I have yet to be contacted by anyone, I am not sure what will happen. This man was upset, but did admit it was his fault. He never expected Rocky to react like that. Neither did I, though I must admit I am not angry at all with my pup. My kids were in their rooms asleep and are not aware of what happened...I don't want my home insurance to go up...I don't even know at this point if this man expects for us to pay his ER bill. Rocky is walking around like normal, Coco seems to be a little strange. She has taken to hiding on the top of the cat post tower. AAAAHHHHH...this is not the way I wanted 2005 to start!
