I really appreciate the great comments you all gave, we think Rocco is quite the stud :)

The good news is that he listens to "most" commands and does a great job at walking next to you and not in front. Doesn't bark and shows alot of affection. Gotta love the slobbering, I am already used to smelling like dog spit.

The not so good:
-Jumping on people! I know this is a breed trait, but didn't realize how bad.
-Excessively humping his "sleeping" pillow. Previous owner said he sleeps on it but that hasn't happened yet as he prefers the cold granite floors.
-A bit stubborn.

Overall, we love the big guy and feel he will fit right in to the family. We are going to work with a trainer and tighten up his obedience but other than that he's awsome!

We actually got Rocco from an extended family member who helping a friend find Rocco a good home due to logistical issues in a new apartment.

Rocco came with a real kennel, dog house, leash, food, shampoo, and wacky pillow :) They didn't want any $$$ at all and we were prepared to buy a puppy so we feel it's a fantastic situation for all.
