Robbie Williams tickets

Yeay, we got tickets to go see Robbie Williams here in Cape Town for tomorrow night!!! He has started his world tour here in South Africa and its been a sell out. We couldn't get tickets when they came on sale but friends have offered us two spare tickets that they have and they are in the Golden circle. It should be a blast I hope.

Anyone else been to one of his concerts before ? I have seen them on DVD and they looked pretty good.

You are so lucky The closest I have come to seeing Robbie Williams is listening to his concert from the park near to us when he sang at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

I saw him just over a year ago. He was great! He puts on a very good show and gets involved with the audience. LOL sometimes a little too invloved, he made out with a fan during one of his songs

He played a few too many unknown songs for my liking, but most of the songs he played were his hits and he played them very well! Its very cool when the crowd sings Angels :D So loud!

It took me a bit long to get back to this thread, its been a busy week sorry!!

Well the concert was great, though I must be honest I expected a bit more of a show. There were no dancers or anything, just his band and backup singers. He opened with one or two of his well known songs and then the same as you said Checkers, he went into all the songs on his new album, then ended off with a bunch of well known ones again to finish with Angels.

Aparently in his kick off show ( he did 3 around SA) he pulled 3 teenagers and their mom up, but with the one I went to, he got a little 5 year old and his dad up it was so sweet. The little guy knew all the songs and was singing along the whole time, his dad said he knows all the words to all the songs.

But on the whole we all enjoyed it and hopefully he gets down here again someday.
