Road Rage Dog Killer Gets Maximum!

Andrew Burnett, the pathetic excuse for a human being, is the one who threw the poor woman's dog into oncoming traffic after a minor traffic accident. Today he was sentanced to the maximum penalty of 3 years. In my honest opinion, it should have been more!!

Let's hope he finds some "not so nice" friends in prison!!

YAHOO!!! This is a start instead of the usual fine they throw at people with the slap on the wrist of suspended jail time. Let's just hope that this teaches this fool a large lesson and like you, I sincerely hope he gets what he deserves in the end

The article I read told how his mother was pleading for leniency and no jail time - hoorah for that Judge for not giving it to him! He certainly did not show that poor little dog or its owner any leniency when he had a hissy fit about a stupid car accident. Unbelieveable!

I am hopeful that this sentance, along with the guy they gave a life sentance to for killing the police K-9 dog are a sign that our courts are toughening up on animal cruelty!

Well,it's a start,but I believe laws against hurting a dog should be similar to those against hurting a human...In the end,we're all living beings,right?I guess 3 years aren't so many but...maybe enough to give this weirdo some time to think about what he did...They should have put his mum away too(---sorry,bad joke I know)....See ya!!!

I believe the dog was a Bichon Frise (sp?). It was a small white poodle type of dog. He was like a child to his owner and she was extremely traumatised by his death. I think the reason it received so much publicity is that the crime was one of such STUPID random violence (as well as the fact reporters could say "road-rage" again and again) and it literally could have happened to anyone.

I am glad he got the maximum sentence. It should happen that way more often.
