Well...I guess finding nothing wrong is pretty good news...I know yu want a diagnosis. we all would if he were ours. I will continue to keep that sweet guy in my heart and hope that the increased Proin will continue to help.

Jengelz, Riley's accidents started at around the same age. I think he was a little over the 2 year mark, but generally speaking it was about the same time. He started out with having an accident here and there in bed, but they became much more frequent as time went on. I was also pretty hesitant in putting Riley on medication, but in the end it seemed as though I had no choice, but to give it a go. He's been fine on the Proin so far. Hopefully, Bernie's accidents were flukes and you won't have to put him on the meds if you're uncomfortable with that idea.

Debbie, I definitely did want some diagnosis just so I knew with 100% certainty what was wrong with Riley, but I think I've come to the realization that maybe it is *just* incontinence. Maybe that is the diagnosis. He's been fine on this higher does of Proin so it's possible so far that this is all that's wrong with him. I've done all I could possibly do to rule as much out as possible. It was both lengthy and costly (and will continue to be costly since he'll permanantly be on medication), but I'd spend as much time and money that I possibly could for a little piece of mind! :)
