I've had similar occurances like that around here. I would be in another room and hear TVs audio start blasting, or come back to the room and it would be either on a different channel or turned completely off. But ABBYs favorite thing to do with remote is, if I'm not in the living room, is to take it and either hide it or carry it outside. There have been so many times where I wouldn't be able to find it where I had left it, only to step out on the patio and there it would be.

Yep, that is what Max does with it. He takes it outside. Last time he did it - he took my bedroom tv remote and I didn't notice until after it had snowed. I found it after the snow melted - not a singe tooth mark and it still worked.

brick dont care to change the channel or turn the tv on off. i wish he did. he is way more interested in biting the buttons. if he could turn on the tv like you pup maybe him and his brother would not get into so much trouble

Max had one day where he took the remote outside, and two pairs of shoes, all his toys, a pillow and a pair of my sweats. Only that once though.
Thankfully now he's just content to push buttons. He is quite the character.

Teagan doesn't turn the tv on or change the channel, but we think she purposefully lays on the remote, thereby sitting on the buttons and drains the batteries. She is so funny!
This morning though she did go over to my alarm clock and pressed the snooze button with her nose and the radio turned on. She loves the noises that come out of the radio! I just couldn't believe that she turned it on herself! There she was standing and staring at the alarm clock cocking her head back and forth from side to side! I just love her so much, we don't know what we would do without her!
