Boxer Pal
Those of you who've read my previous posts know that we have one young and one old boxer. Polar opposites, but both big lovers.
This morning the wife left for work about an hour before me, as is the norm. I'm just sitting down to the boxer board after letting the boys out. We're all back inside and the boys are taking their respective couches when I hear voices. Slightly alarmed, I listen for a few seconds and realize that for at at least the 10th time Max has pushed the button on the universal remote to turn on the reciever and he's listening to Good Morning America or some other mornig news program.
I walk out to the living room and he's sitting there, on the big couch, one paw on the remote. I think he was looking for scooby doo cartoons. He had the head cocked to one side as if to say, "Dad help change the channel and turn on the big screen." Too funny.
He is a notorious remote dog. Cassius has never done this in almost ten years. Max, at least ten times in the past year alone. He loves to sit on the couch and he will stare for hours at the television. Maybe it's just me, but he always finds the remote and the button to hit. Big paws, little buttons, yet he manages.
