Wanted to take a moment to remember this very special girl today. She left us way too young five years ago. Cannot believe you have been gone that long my love. How i miss you and the old girl you never got the chance to be. One minute you were running like the wind with your brother and your friends and the next you were down and gone. I never knew you had a heart problem until the moment you died and I will never forgive myself for not testing you more-I knew better. But you were so beautiful and happy and crazylovicon I was in denial. Anyway, Ai Girl, loving and missing you today and always-the best little boxer girl that ever lived. Stay safe at the bridge with Fraze until we see each other again. Mama loves baby girl

Wow she was gone way too soon! I'm sure she is resting in peace with all our babies at the Bridge and you will be together again one day, far away. RIP sweet baby girl. xo

We said goodbye to our Lennex much too soon as he too left us with an undiagnosed heart condition. The sad nature of owning this magnificant breed is that they're here for the briefest of moments, but long enough to become the center of our worlds. We are without a boxer for the moment, I guess trying to rebuild some stamina before bring another into our lives. I can feel your emotion through your words and we to know the depth of your loss.

I am sorry for your loss of your Lennex. It is so true that they so fulfill us that when they go it is intolerable. My last girl, Ailis, most likely died of Boxer Cardiomyopathy. Since my girl passed researchers have found a genetic marker for this awful desease. The good news is my girl now, Nysa, tested negative for it. Not a guaruntee but makes me feel better just the same. I know another wonderful boxer will find their way to you-boxers can spot their fans a mile away :) Take care and thank you for your kind response.

Eileen,
Haven't been to Boxerworld for a very long time, and your thread was the first I read. I remembered that 2/25, the day you lost your Sweet Ailis was so close to the date I lost my Grunt Boy. These precious babies will never be forgotten, nor will the love and joy they brought to our lives. I think of you often and of your kindness. I know how much you miss your Ai and Frazer. Just as much as I miss my Beloved. Sending you BIG hugs. ♥
