redish-brown spot on tummy

My girl, samus has just recently got a brownish red stripe on her belly. it goes from about the middle of her belly to her private area, right down the center. My husband is worried about it but I dont think it is really major. We gave her a bath last night, thinking it might be dirt, but it didnt help. it doesnt look like a rash, more like a stain. has anyone else had this problem? she is 4.5 months old. Do females just develop this as they grow?:confused:

Are you also seeing what looks like zits? Jingo had a similar reaction and the vet recommended sensitive skin oxy stuff (for teenage acne!). He said it was acne. So we got it and wiped her belly down with it and it did clean it up.

I'm curious too if anyone else has come across this?

She used to get the zits on her belly but she hasn't in a long time, it is just the stain now... I guess not many people have experienced this... I thought it was more common. Thanks for your reply.

I have the same thing!!!

My 3-month old female has the exact same thing you're talking about! It has developed gradually. It's from her belly to her pee pee, just a line down the middle. It doesn't wash off, though it looks like it could be dirt or poopy...? She likes to munch down there on it, like it's itching, making it tender and moist, which led me to think it might be a yeast infection. I've tried hydrocortisone, and human yeast cream, seems to help with the itching, but the brown stuff is still there! We are taking her to the vet Thursday, so I'll let you know what he thinks of it!

Red patches on tummy

Our miss Maxie also has a red patch that started
just as a small aira (about a Quarter size spot)
and now has spread to nearly all of her tummy.
I can't tell if it hurst or itches but I am concerned that it is something more than it appears to be Mike
