I think Jazz is a red fawn. She has such a pretty red to it. But to someone else she may not look as red. How can you tell if she is red? I know this sounds like a stupid question-but I was just curious. Thanks!
Baxter is considered very red (at least his body, his legs are still yellow fawnish) and as I recall, Jazz is about the same colour as the Baxman. This really doesn't help you though, does it?
My past girl Dutch was a dark fawn almost mahogany I always wondered what her color was called I registered her as fawn &white.Caesar is pretty dark kinda chestnut. Brandi is lighter and Duke was a blondish fawn almost dark gold at times.
I guess there really is no guide line. It is just what you think.
Cubby-Baxter looked like a real light fawn to me. Jazz looked alot darker. But who knows.
I guess it rally doesnt matter the color! Right?
Monty is a brindle Boxer, but under the black stripes his coat is a beautiful deep red Auburn. His sister Sophie has the same markings as him but her coat is darker with very little red colour. Another of his siblings Winston has a yellow'y brindle coat, another Zazoo was almost black. I know i'm biased but Monty really has a gorgeous coat.
I think Lily is pretty red too. She looks like Mandymom's Cooper. I always call her honey girl or firecracker girl. I guess I'm just as silly as she is! :D
Here is the USA we call it Fawn. Of course, some are darker Fawn than others. I really do love a deep brown coat. It seems the plainer marked kids definitely do get that nice dark Fawn coat.
I have read that fawns can range from yellow/blond to a mahogony red. My fawn, Trapper, is also very red and rich in colour. My brindle is also quite red underneath and was classified as a honey brindle.
