I keep hearing people say how much their babies don't like the snow and cold but is it bad if snow means play time. My Jade loves it!!!! She gets excited and will chase and grab legs and jump, just all kinds of stuff that she NEVER does inside or when there is just a little snow. She will be shaking because she is cold but still will do anything to get you to play in the snow with her. She even sticks her face in it. It is the funniest thing I have ever seen....this beautiful face with soulful eyes covered in snow looking at you like she is in heaven. Her and her skin daddy go bounding through the snow piles and she reminds me of a rabbit. I realize that if she was out there too long it might make her sick but it can't hurt for just short amounts of time, can it? By the way if you can't tell Jade is doing very well and seems quite happy and comfortable now. She is the sweetest dog and loves to be loved.

So glad to hear Jade is doing well :) And my girl love the snow too!! They are fine out there for awhile. If we are going to go out for a long romp I put a coat on her but only in the coldest weather

My two absolutely love the snow! They don't even mind the cold! They have made it a habit to go outside nearly every evening and play into the late evening. Sometimes I have to make them come in to go to bed! They have a doggie door so they come and go as they want. Even last night as our temps were 9 degrees and windchill of 6 below, I would make them come in and shut the door and then first thing I knew, I'd hear them outside playing again, where my husband had let them out to potty and then got 'engrossed in the tv' and forgot........and I'd have to go get them AGAIN and make them stay inside! Even though they love it, if it's this cold, I know it's not good for them so I monitor their time outside. So I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you use caution with the temps. I think they're like kids......they'd stay out all day/night cause they're just having fun! It's up to their moms to use good judgement!

Nikita loves the snow, especially climbing the snow hills and then running down and having us chase her. She's even gone on the kids sled! It's hillarious to watch Nikita sliding down as our 3 yr old daughter is crying because Nikita is not 'sharing'.

Our Jack thinks its his job to EAT all of the snow. He goes nuts all over the place snorting as he keeps his mouth and nose to ground gobbling up all of the snow.

Cain loves the snow. He hops and pounces on the ground. He stays out for a while and then he'll come in get by the heating vent and 10min later I hear the bell to go back out. I was getting worried that the heat/ then out in the cold would make him sick. but nothing. healthy as can be!!

Hurricane doesn't much care for the snow... have you ever seen a cat walk through wet grass, they pick up their feet really high? That is how he walks in the snow! My poor baby, he must have inherited my Texas heat-loving blood, and we are both stuck up here in TN where its FREEZING! ;)
