No denta or Nylabones here

Believe it or not. Delilah chewed and swallowed the ends of Denta bones and Nylsbones. She also swallowed the ends of hard rubber toys. These chunks of toys were whole pieces. When she was going through all of her problems that they thought were cancer, is when they found something in her stomach. The above named objects. At first the surgeon thought that she had rocks in her stomach. So be real careful what you give them to chew on. She loves to chew. I wish that I could find something that she would not swallow.

I'm a bit late on this bandwagon, but I have found that the dinosaur shaped (stegasauras) nylabone holds up incredibly well around our house. I have several of them in various places in the house, Tenaia being an extremely aggressive chewer, has only worn small spots off the bend of the neck and tail areas - and the oldest dino is about a year old (finally tossed the two yr dinos-not because of wear, but they got reeeaaaaalllly grody looking from being hauled outside when I wasn't looking).

An added bonus is that Tenaia @ 3.5 years has absolutely NO tartar buildup - and she has never been to the dentist! Just wish I could get Tess to use them more than she does.....

Well Ozzy gets nylabones, both mines love dentabones. At the moment they are outside with marrow bones fresh from the grocery store. they get filled with PB and frozen for later. I don't give rawhide, you have to keep an eye on it all the time, they get soft and break off and the dogs end up choking on it. My rottie has a piece of ABS pipe that he chews!
