WOW Henri's meal is huge in comparison to Kirov's meals
But then, Henri might be huge in comparison to Kirov who weighs only 57 lbs :)

Thanks gmacleod! I buy a newspaper every Sunday and Wednesday so that will give me plenty of paper for a week. I just liked the idea of something that was disposable.

Henri gets 800g per day (split in two meals) - not sure how that would compare to Kirov's daily total? It was 400g of chicken drumsticks with a little offal on the side in his bowl. He weighs 30kg (66lb), so indeed a little more - but a pretty good weight for his size/frame.

Is there a way you can teach them how to eat raw? Hurricane absolutely refuses to touch the food with his paws... when I give him raw on occasion he just spreads out his front feet as far as possible and braces the food as best as he can against the floor.... which of course means it goes all over the floor. He will keep in on the towel, but the towel goes sliding  Is this just a Hurricane thing or do other dogs not like to touch raw food with their feet?

So far Ruben hasn't ate anything that he has to "hold" with his paws. He eats chicken leg quarters, turkey necks, pork neck bone, ground beef and pork and beef and chicken offal (only chicken liver, gizzards and beef liver) so far. He does a really good job of keeping it on the towel or newspaper. Unless of course he eats to fast, in that case he usually heads to the corner to barf it up and eat it again. Gross, but true.

And millyboy, that is one HUGE turkey neck compared to what I've been buying!
