Boxer Pal
We just bought a boxer puppy, after losing our first boxer at only 1.5 years it took us a while to decide to get another one. Now we can't think of a unique name for a hyper puppy. if you have any suggestions please give them to me; he's a male.

try this site

Hi, Im going through the same problem as you are. I will be getting my pup in about 2 weeks and I still have yet to come up with a name for him. But there is hope, try this site below and Im sur you will come up with a name for your pup. They have official names as well, if your not sure of what that is here is an example, say the dogs name is Diamond his official name would be Diamond- In the rough...get it. You ever see these dogs names say like show dogs and they have teses long names well those are official names. Just in case you didn't know. Good luck.

Riley's dad had a very original name, which I thought was kind of cool. He was called "Teeko", spelled TKO, as in "Technical Knock Out", which is a boxing term. Kind of a cool variation on other boxing-sport related boxer names. You hear of a lot of Tyson's and Oscar's, etc., but I think Teeko is unique and interesting for a boxer boy!

My 2nd choice for a name for Legend was "Justice". I just love that name...very strong.

Good luck with your new pup!!!!

You have time

Take your time with naming the pup. You have several months according to AKC. You cant think about your hobby or something that means a lot to you.

When I got Penny I was trying to think of a good Registered name. Short of the fact she would bear both kennel names of her owners (Rosend's N PawPrint's) I wanted something that meant something.

Well, we had brought Penny home on New Years day and she was very much what we had hoped for. She was also a new beginning for my show line. So her name became:
Rosend's n PawPrint's New Year.

We would say "she is a New Penny for the New Year".

names are rough aren't they. you just hope a good one shows itself at the right time. my in-laws own 2 male boxers they go by PD and Woof. nothing fancy until you hear their given names. (note my father in-law is a classical music buff) Woofgang Amadeus Bach(sir) and PDQ Bach(sir) (a satire writer on classical music). maybe it is just me but i thought they were great names:) . good luck to you in your search. puppy's personality

Hi! I had the same problem with my (now 7 month old) puppy. He is white, and so I thought of names like Drake, Duke...and then, Diamond-perfect!! That's what I decided on!

I had to wait almost 2 weeks until my little one wasn't called "puppy" anymore because I couldn't think or decide on a name. And I think that if you see what his personality is like and then decide on a name that it will probably suit him better. Just an idea-good luck, and let us know what you decide on!! :p

It's a fine line between the joy and torture of choosing a name, isn't it!!!
That's how I ended up with "Purdy". No, I don't like the name much, but after a week of lists, votes and arguments between my two sons, when they both agreed on Purdy, I said, "Purdy it is! No more changes!!!"
Her registered name is Purdy Li'l One.

For a hyper little fellow, how about:

Comet

Rocket

Ricochet (Rick O'Shay)

Ritalin

Harley

Bounce

Dynamo

Spunk

Dasher

Torpedo

Laser

Turbo

Cricket

Rowdy

Inflation (just kidding!!):D

Good luck, and have fun with your new fellow!!!!!!!!!!
