I need help naming our new pup. He is a Christmas gift so I was thinking of something that has to do with the season or something that has to do with 9/11. Any suggestions please. He is all brown with a black mask. Thanks!

How about Klaus (pron. clous) best of both worlds sort of like Santa and a German name to boot! Good Luck with your new pup!

shiva's little boy (just born yesterday) will be MAX...
he was really big, was the only one... and i was impresed by the movie Gladiator... where Maximus is the best Roman general...
also it is very practical to have a short name you can shout :D

Can you tell us more about him? What's his personality like? I always try to name mine by their personality. How old is he? also Congratulations on your new baby.

Not Christmasy, but

Yesterday we had lunch at a fast food place. We were sitting by the windows eating and outside a Jeep was parked. I told my husband "Jeep" would be a good name for a Boxer with that squared off grill/face.
Congratulation on your new puppy - for a moment I'm envious and then I remember the Boxer Puppy Crazies.....and I'm glad Mack is a settled-down 3 year old!

How about cane or kain as in candy cane my boys name is Maximus Kain (yes from gladiator) I thought it was a nice strong name but I almost wished I had named him Kain it fit him well.
Well good luck with the new pup and let us know what you decide!!!

How about "Coal or Kohl" as in some naughty puppies find it in their stockings! Or how about "Tonka" if you think he is going to be a big boy?
