Puppy Euthanized

I will never understand some people. How anyone can treat an animal like a possession, with no regard for the life they are entrusted with. These creatures have feelings and deserve everything that we would afford anyone else in our families. While it won't stop the hurt, take comfort in knowing that her final hours were with someone with compassion - I truly believe she knew that you were trying to help her.

Those pictures were absolute proof that poor puppy was abused. So what they took her to the vet. She was already so far gone from their abuse and neglect there was no hope for her! I know you had the kind heart to try your best and all animal lovers applaude your efforts. I worked at an animal shelter for a few summers as a young teen. I saw some things I wish to this day I had'nt. I arrived to open the shelter one morning to find a dog tied up to the fence with a jumprope. It was bleeding from everywhere it seemed and missing a front leg. It was determined someone hit it with a car and just left it there to die. I cried for days and still have that image in my head. That is something I will not soon forget. Some people are just so heartless. You were a blessing to that little girl, even for the short while. I thank you.

God speed little one. Makes me cry to think there are people who could be so cruel to that little thing-how could you look at that sweet face and not love her-bless you for showing her the love she deserved if even for such a short time. She is truly a boxer angel

oh, my GOD, I wish people would understand that you should think long and hard before getting a pet . If you cannot take care of the pet or have any doubt whatsoever, you should not get it.
Were they reported to the authorities or the aspca of that area??? They should be ... what they did was abuse and if it were done to a human child they would be in prison, this is no different.

Just read this horror story and saw the pics....in my state (California) those perps would have been charged immediately with animal cruelty and on the way to a just punishment! Bless you for trying....absolutely sickening!

I'm with "AtlasMom911" eye for an eye!
I had a very similar situation fall upon me. It isn't something I would wish on anyone. God love you for trying...I know that baby did!!

Uh....what about the vet that let them walk out with the puppy looking like that?? Do they have no authority to keep the animal, if in this condition, if treatment is refused? Just curious.

this is the saddest thing i have ever heard. that poor poor baby. you were her angel. i wonder how those people would feel being in a crate for 10 hours.

I had to have my 13yr old lizzy euthanized about a week ago and it is hard I know...Are you still friends with these people after what they did to that poor little girl.That is just wrong and inhumane..Take care

This is so sad. That poor sweet little baby. Too bad she was beyond being saved by some good old TLC. People who would allow a pet to suffer like this are beyond what I can understand. God help them.
