Our life with a little boy & his Boxer
Last year for Christmas my 3 yr old grandson wanted a red dog like mine, well needless to say Santa brought him that red Boxer pup,you may think a 3 yr old is to young, but I think not. When he got her that was his baby, she was 8wks old her little feet didn't hit the floor until she was too big for him to carry, which was only about 1mth.This pup worships him,she has never been rough with him & they play & scuffle all the time,he will tell you she is his sister & they are never apart, this pup knows she belongs to him,Mom & Dad only feed her & potty trained her.Well she is 1yr old now & he is 4yrs,now she takes care of him, nobody messes with her brother, she is very social with kids but leary of adults. His Granny was playing with him, chasing him down the hall to the bedroom & Dyla Doo nipped Granny on the leg & let her know not to play rough with her little boy, that is the only time she has ever shown any aggression toward anybody. When she saw he was alright, she was fine.It is really amazing when you see these two together, they are connected. He even named her, his name is Dylan & he named her Dyla Doo after his name. So, I have a hard time understanding these other pups, playing ruff with the kids, when they are around them all the time.Even my dogs never get rough with little kids.LOL,Hanley
