Hi all. We're fairly new here and just posted several pictures of our darling fur kids. Let me introduce them: Casey, 2.5 yo fawn female. Her coat is almost reddish. We got her as a pup from a certified breeder in Vancouver, WA. AND THINGS HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE!!! Wow, what energy she has!! We thought she might calm down some once she reached 2 yo, but that ain't the case! We love her dearly. And then there's Buddy, somewhere around the same age, a brindle boy with white socks. We picked him up from a rescue group 10 months ago in Aberdeen, WA. After having Casey, we knew we needed a companion for her. Buddy has taken some time getting adjusted, but we think its starting to work out. Poor guy was so undernourished, scrawny, dirty, stinky when we picked him up. We've taken care of him since and he looks so good now. We've given him the nickname 'Tank' cause he's a little bulldozer of a dog. He also has an allergy that causes his back paws to get all raw. We're working with our vet on getting this under control. And boy, these two dogs are so opposite of one another. Casey is carefree, loves EVERYBODY, is extremely agile and graceful and RARELY ever barks. Buddy, on the other hand, is a little doofy wrecking ball, very ungraceful, barks anytime the doorbell rings or we get a knock (or whenever he thinks he hears these), and is a very loyal watchdog. Buddy might bite someone breaking into our home; Casey would lick them to death. What fun!
