Hi y'all, I am hoping someone out there can answer a question about doggie dentistry.
Sadie, our brindle boxer puppy is female and now 14 weeks old.
We have been watching her mouth carefully for a few weeks now. It seems that as soon as her teeth come throught her gums, they are worn right down.
Her eye teeth look like they are hollow or have a cavity down through the centre of them. Her back teeth look like they are fine, but all of the front ones from the "fangs" forward are just wearing down smooth almost back to the gums. At first we thought that boxers may develop at a different rate than our other dogs, but she should have longer teeth by now!
Has anyone else had this problem? What can be done about it and will her adult teeth grow in alright if we give her extra calcium and vitamins in her diet?
