Alright now that I lied very convincingly...yes I would have done that as well! I don't want the babies eating it, or tracking it into the house! That stuff is hard to wash off as well, I am sure both my pups would have gotten very sick trying to clean it off!

Yep...

I would have done the same thing.

Through the winter, the roads and sidewalks here are salted. ( That's right, literally tonnes of salt is dumped onto the roads and side walks to turn perfectly good snow into messy, useless slush ).

Anyways, I won't let my boxer baby walk on the salted areas without her booties on, and oh yeah I look like a nut too!

That reminds me of a time when I was walking Delilah and she suddenly started limping, I couldn't find anything in her paws so I carried her 65lbs. about half a block home. Turns out it was a pine needle I didn't see... heh.

I've gotten weird looks too. Yesterday we had our Christmas parade and we were kinda in back and poor Layla couldn't see what was going on. So much to hubby protest, I picked up my 50 lb baby and had her in my arms like you would hold a child. Right on my hip. She loved it! Had her two paws around my neck and even took a moment to rest her head on my shoulder. What we don't do for these little angels!

I was out in the pouring rain last night holding an umbrella over Kosmo because he would not go outside in the rain. Of course I am soaked but he is dry. This too would probably look strange to passersby
