Prison Break!

So yesterday I was having my Directv upgrade installed and while the Directv guy was outside, I kept the dogs inside and when he came inside I put them in our fenced in backyard...of course forgetting that we had opened the garage door for the directv guy.

WELL about 10 minutes later my neighbor comes over and tells me, the dogs are out running around and it dawns on me DUH! the garage. So I get my car keys open the door to my car and then think, let me walk up and down the street first yelling there names. So I go up and down the street...yelling TITUS, SHADOW, CAMEA and Nothing...my neighbors are all pointingi n different directions.

So get my to my car and what do you know...Titus is sitting in the front seat, tongue all out huffing and puffing and Shadow and Camea are running full speed at me..then past me...into the car!

I had to take them on a ride then..around the block as we told all the neighbors that they were okay! that is my new trick...if they get out...just open the car doors and they come a running!

That is a great story! I can just imagine them thinking, "Hey, where's Mom going without us?"

That is the funniest story. How ironic is it that you were going out to look for them and as soon as you open the door they appear wondering where your going without them! .

Glad all turned out well. The car trick works well for us too, that and the "let's eat" trick. If my pups happen to get out of the fenced in yard, they run straight to the neighbor's house to eat their cat food. I always just yell "who wants to go byes?" at the top of my lungs (I live in the sticks) and the next thing I know, I have 2 dogs sitting at my car waiting to get in.

You are such a sucker! Your dogs have you pegged! Next time they will escape just for a ride! Scrappy loves a ride anywhere, even the vets. The last time we took him there he wagged his tail (yes, he has a tail) so hard on the technicians back I had to hold it!

love this story Its so funny Yet I'm glad all your babies are all right ... They must know the sound of your car as you didn't even have to go too far before they were headed back to go for a ride.. Titus prob said to the others Hey I hear Mom opening the car door she must be going bye bye last one in the car is a rotten egg as he was the first to get there

To funny...Same thing works with Layla. That is the first thing I do, just open the car door say lets go for a ride and here she comes!!
