I always have fresh spinach on hand, and lots of fruit. I'll try apples, I bet they would like those. I will try the veggies mixed with the offal, that was a good idea. Frozen might work too, they both love ice chips! Okay, I'm off for a run and then a trip to the grocery store! I feel like I've taken an advanced crash college course in "The Art of Raw Feeding". Too much thinking makes my brain hurt. Thank you again Gmacleod. Your knowledge is GREATLY appreciated.

I went to the store yesterday, well one. And wrote down all the prices of different items. Beef tongue???!!! EW I saw things I've never even noticed before! But, hey, whatever it takes! I haven't started raw yet, I'm still price checking the area to get the best value and best quality meat. I'm hoping by Monday I'll have things organized and ready to go! I'm still on the fense as to supplement or not though.

ok just wanted to confirm that because in my short experience with raw i didnt' see sam taking any advantage of either vegetables or grains, i only tried apple and that didn't go down well either, i might try some berries, i'm mostly trying to think of what dogs would eat in the wild, and berries is the only other thing i can think of besides meat (although i could be wrong) and after reading a few articles and seeing some pictures i dont think they really eat what's inside the intestines,

My dogs will eat a whole rabbit. Fur, guts, head, ears there will be nothing left. This is considered true prey model. There a place in Kentucky that sell whole rabbits for pets. www.prey4pets.com

My dogs will only eat corn, green beans, pineapples and oranges. On the other hand my daughter's dog will eat anything put in front of them. I think you just got to offer it and see what they think of it. If they don't like it just don't feed it and try something else.
