Boxer Insane
Unfortunately they do not all outgrow it. This boxer is 6 years old and has had it all of its life. I'm not sure if they let it go too long without treatment as a puppy or what.
I guess I'm a little confused. According to the article you posted, it's usually diagnosed as a puppy. I realize you said they may have let it go on too long as a puppy and that is why the problem persists. However, you mentioned the dog is 6 years old and has had it (lions jaw) all it's life...so why is there only now a problem with the prednisone? Has he just recently started taking pred or is he just recently having bladder problems?
Perhaps there's another medication that can be used instead???
