Boxer Insane
On Wednesday 9/14 my DH goes in for a biopsy on what they are calling a calcified lesion on his lung. The possibilities of what they will find go from a fungus or something left over from an infection which means they do nothing, to a malignant lung tumor which means they remove his entire lung. It's in a spot where the pulmonary artery and all the other blood vessels go into the lung so removing just the lobe is not possible. All of his tests lead us to believe it's not major but because of where it is at, they can't do a needle biopsy so it's major surgery. He is extremely confident that they are not going to find anything. At least that is that is what he is telling everyone. I am a pesimist by nature so I'm trying to stay positive as well. He came through the chemo for the CLL with flying colors and his doctors are really pleased. Then this stupid thing shows up on his follow up CT scan and took the wind right out of my sails. So if you can think to say a little prayer or send some healthy vibes our way I would appreciate it.
