Prayers for Alyx

My friend's daughter got into a bad accident today she was riding a 4 wheeler and flipped off. She has (so far) a lacerated liver, her kidney is badly damaged and they are checking for a broken pelvis etc.. I need some Boxerworld healing vibes for her (my friend Chris & Alyx) right now she is having a really hard time, not just with Alyx that was the icing on the cake. They asked to borrow money because they are having major financial problems. She is just starting to loose it, everything is crashing down on her & her hubby right now. Please keep her in your prayers & thoughts. We are taking care of their 2 other kids until someone comes to take them. They fit right in with my 4 kids, 3 boxers & hubby. :P

Sending lots of prayers and healing vibes to your friend and her family. I know what it's like to be trapped under a flipped over 4 wheeler. I will never get on one again. They can be fun but also very, very dangerous.

Thanks everyone for your prayers! I just came home from the hospital and Alyx is doing ok. She still is in Critical care in Pediatric ICU and will *hopefully* be moved to a regular bed by tomorrow sometime. So far she got really lucky, no broken bones (besides a chipped bone in her pelvis) and her liver is lacerated, (they are keeping tabs on that) and her right kidney is completely disabled. Meaning it is not functioning at all. SO, they said that is something she will have to keep tabs on and if in the furture she has problems with it they will deal with them then. Thanks for all the prayers keep em coming!

Just an update, Alyx is doing very good. She is eating, doing her *business* thank goodness since there was possibly some trauma in that area also. She is in a regular room now, they even got her up today and had her sitting in the wheel chair for awhile! She is more animated and is even giggling. Thanks for all the BW healing vibes. This little girl has a long way to go but she is taking baby steps in getting there.

I'm so glad that Alyx is doing better. I just hate ATV's and think they should be banned. My son has lost two friends in ATV accidents in the last 6 months. Thank the dear lord that Alyx is alive and didn't die like my son's friends. So very sad!
