Prayers for Alyx

I've been away all week and just got the message. Sending more healing vibes to Alyx for a speedy recovery. I'm glad to hear things are looking up!

Things not so good!

Alyx took a turn for the worse last night and started vomiting blood and was turning blue & was unresponsive. She was rushed back to the emergency room & was given 3 units of blood, and had emergency surgery late last night. She had a severed artery in the liver that was hemoragging, so they went through her femoral artery and repaired it. Please lots of prayers for Alyx she is in critical condition and not doing very good right now.

Oh I am so sorry to read this.....please let her family know that we are all sending extra BW vibes for her....this is never an easy time.....all of you must try and stay strong for her....as she is unable to be strong....her body is very busy fighting to stay alive......and I am keeping her in my thoughts so she may win this battle.

Oh that poor little girl. Alyx and her family will be in our thoughts. I also hope the rest of her family is coping and managing thru this time. You are a blessing to their family right now.

Oh poor Alyx. how old is she? She and her family will be in my thoughts & prayers. Thank goodness you are there for them now. Hope the other kids are doing ok

Sorry, you guys keep asking how old she is and I keep forgetting to tell you. Alyx will be 14 this Saturday the 20th. We are going up to the hospital and having a party for her there. I thought it would be nice since she can't be home for it. She is resting comfortably now, has had 4 units of blood now since last night and is in Pediatric ICU until tomorrow (depending on her blood tests & how she is feeling). I talked to her and she said she feels better now than she did when she went home. I guess so, since she was slowly hemorraging. Thanks for all the healing vibes everyone, keep them coming!

Just an update, Alyx is still in Intensive Care they had to put a chest tube in because one of her lungs had a pocket of fluid that was getting bigger. So, she is doing ok, just in a lot of pain and resting now. She has a lot of healing to do. Keep the prayers coming!
