I would not feed Chloe table foods either -- but I consider fruits and veggies healthier alternatives to store bought treats....
Vegetables and fruits are really good for them; they have lots of natural vitamins - great for their coats too (just do not feed mushrooms, onions or grapes -- those are toxic). BARF uses veggies and fruits....
Raw carrots for example are excellent for keeping plaque of the teeth (just like Greenies - except way cheaper; and arguably more natural)
As for cheese -- many doggies like cheese; many brands of treats use cheese - but they also load the treats up with other junk....
As for cheerios -- I checked & asked; and there is nothing wrong with it; it's actually nice and small - softer for a puppy...
The only thing is: don't give your puppy all new veggies or fruits at once; introduce them one by one - and always wait
.
And on a final note -- just wanted to tell you that Chloe's ears shake from excitement when she sees someone peeling an orange :D - and I couldn't be happier about that.
