Poor Moose!

My brother sent me this story this morning..thought you might find it as weird as I did...sad too. This poor moose...what a strange predicament! :( I too do not understand why he had to be destroyed, however, the meat is not wasted.

Yes, sad as it is the moose had to be put down. I'm guessing he may have had a broken neck or other injuries. Any time a moose is killed as a result of an accident (mostly vehicular) the meat is distributed to families.
