Poll: What kind of dog food do you use?

I feed my dog lamb and rice...that's the only food that hasn't made her face break out (she has a red dye allergy). She's been on it for about 3-4 months now and is doing well with it.

We just switched to chicken soup, after reading so many good things on this site I wanted to give it a try. Mason and Aspen seem to like it, not sure that we've seen any "improvements" yet ( less shedding etc) but this is only week 1.

I had never heard of Chicken Soup before joining here either. I went to the local pet store to see if they could get it and was pleased they agreed to special order it for me. I was even more pleased to find it was cheaper than the Nutro I had been feeding.

Dempsey is on California Natural Lamb and Rice. Only One, where in PA are you? maybe I can hellp you locate a Premium dog food distributor. What brand of Lamb and Rice are you feeding?

We had huge allergy issues until we switched to the Merrick dry food line. Sadie loves it and you can add warm water to make a gravy, which we always do. It reasonably priced, but difficult to get a hold of as most of the pet store around here don't carry merrick.

Dozer and Diesel both eat Chicken Soup kibble Mixed with the CS canned food. Yum!

Our Muggsy is on Chicken Soup, he loves it, been on it for about 8 months. Tried Innvoa but it was too rich for his tummy. Thinking of rotating but not sure what we should try?

My pup is on canidae. She seems to like it but I think she preferred the flavor of the pedigree the breeder had her on (yuck). Those are the only 2 she's been on. I really like canidae's ingredients and the price is lower than the rest I believe.

Violet is on canidae right now(with some merrick wet food), and we are about to rotate to California Natural Lamb and Rice for the first time so we'll see...she started out on wellness puppy--she has loved them all...she's a little piggy

If you are having problems with allergies you should try Wellness they have a line called simple solutions and they have very few ingredients. Good luck!!!

Chicken Soup

Knowledge is power...i use purina one lamb. i have a store near me in south jersey that carries Chicken Soup - uh! what did i know. I thought it was some kind of fad. Now i will go check out the site. What's it's claim?
