Lola's mum

My Dh named Lola, he thought the name suited her.
Zebedee was named because out of the whole litter he was the one jumping about just like the cahracter Zebedee in 'The Magic Roundabout'
And my daughter named Casper after Casper the friendly ghost because he's white:LOL:

Well to preface this reply, my husband is a MAJOR football fan (Go Dolphins!?)
So, when it came time to name our first baby, we chose Falko, after the characters name "Shane Falco" in the movie The Replacements. I changed the "C" to a "K" because it looked better.
When we brought home our baby girl the following year, Falko fell in love with her, so we figured it was obvious to name her after Shane Falco's girlfriend in the movie, Annabelle.

Our German Shorthair's name is Hunter. He was easy to name because he is a bird "hunter"

Hey! Long time no talk!

Hey there..remember me and the Brat Pack (Echo and Carson)? We all had played together a couple of summers ago at the Southbury park.

Anyway, to answer your question:
Blizzard aka Blizzy got her name because she was a white pup born during a freak snow strom in September..voila' Blizzard was born.

Carson (my handsome devil) also white. He was born during a Blizzard we had in January '06. The Blizzard was named Carson. So Carson was sort of a namesake for his angel sister Blizzard. Also, Carson was born on the one year anniversary of Johnny Carson's death. Johnny Carson had white hair and blue eyes, my Carson has white fur and one blue eye. Add to the fact that Johnny Carson loved to make people laugh..just like my Carson. And so (Surname) Here's John E was born. John E being my hubbys first name and middle initial :)

Echo. She was named by my little daughter (at the time she was just 3). She was walking around with a stuffed boxer dog and calling it Echo. where she came up with that is beyond me but she said the new pup should be Echo. And Echo it was. A member here helped with her "registered" name. Blizzard's Eternal Echo. Again, after my Blizzy. She will forever be remembered by me, my family and those who were lucky enough to meet her.

We named our boxers Buckeye and Steeler because we are huge football fans:) Milo is a rescue who came named and was already very aware of his name.

Independence

Boxer Insane
Our first boxer was Bubby after Bubby Brister the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers at the time. Not sure where Babs came from except she had a name long before we even knew we were getting her. We kept telling Bubby we were going to get him a little Babs. Indy is short for Jopa's Independence Day because we picked him up on the 4th of July. I also think Independence is a fitting name for a boxer.

Beau was Bono when I got him and I'm not a U2 fan so I shortened it to Bo which turned into Beau after I decided I wanted a strong name for him and named him Beauregard (even though instead of something brave it really means handsome which of course he absolutely is).
