even though it's only been a short time since my last post, i wanted to post again to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. i can't get the both of you and josi out of my mind this morning. i keep thinking about the both of you and am saddened tremendously by your loss. :( my heartfelt sympathies are with you.
take care of yourselves while you grieve the loss of your sweet Diva, Warrior Princess.

Staci and Brian - I am honored to have known Josi through you and that you shared her courageous fight with me. I must say I have never met more caring people than you two, you really are special and rare. Many would have given up a long time ago and helped their friend to the bridge, but you let her go on her own time, pampering her to the very end. There is no doubt that the bridge is a much stronger place now with Josi there. God speed sweet Warrior Girl, you are an inspiration to all of us.
Please take care of yourselves and don’t be afraid to grieve freely, you are most certainly entitled to it after all you have been through. Keep those precious memories of the happy times that you and Josi spent together close in your heart, it will help you through those tough times. And always remember your Boxer world family is here for you. God Bless. You are in my thoughts and prayers....

I am so sorry for your loss. I don’t even know what to write. But I truly hope you can take comfort in knowing that Josi enjoyed her days to the fullest. She knew she was loved deeply and she had a great life full of all the things a dog could possibly want. Even in her last moments she had you right beside her to guide her onto her next journey. I know that gave her the comfort to pass on and eased her pain. The three of you had a very special connection and that will live on forever.

I have never made a post to this tread because I have realized in Sam's 7 years how blessed we are to have a healthy Boxer. But my prayers were always for your precious princess. Today however, I feel compelled to just say that you, Brian & Josi are ovbiously loved by so many on this board. Maybe in a strange way dogs are like people----you always hear that right before people pass away they have an ability to use all the fight they have left in them to rise to the occasion for all of those that they will leave behind. Maybe Josi had that in mind too this past weekend....just giving you and all of us that one final "last hoorah." Godspeed Josi - we all loved your determination.

I just wanted to say how much your Ms Josi has touched my heart. I haven't posted on this thread since very early on, but have been following it. It was such a joy just to follow her story and witness such a courageous spirit. I was pulling for her til the end. To me the amazing thing is how long this thread has continued on with such a dim prognosis at the beginning. That really is a testament to her amazing spirit and the love and support you and Brian have shown her. You have nothing to regret and enough beautiful memories to last a lifetime. Ms Josi is at peace now. Her fight on earth may be over, but she has left a very lasting impression on those that knew her story. Hugs to you. Godspeed sweet Ms Josi Warrior Princess~~.

My heart goes out to you and your entire family. Through Josi's battle I feel like I know all of you and I couldn't feel worse if Josi had been my own. I can only hope that should something like this happen to Bella or any of my dogs that my husband & I could handle it with as much patience and grace as you and Brian. Your story has given me an increased appreciation for the little time that our babies are with us. Mine certainly enjoyed extra snuggling last night after I read the news. I truthfully believe that Josi met with a tremendous welcoming committee when she got to the bridge. She is safe and warm and is being shown the ropes by all of our loved ones that went before her. Most important is that she knows that you did everything possible for her and she is now able to watch down on you with a healthy and pain free body.

Rest in Peace dear sweet Josi You are loved more than you know.

Staci and Brian I am sooo sorry for your loss. Although I dreaded everyday coming into this thread fearing one day this post would be here. At least Miss Josi did things her way, we know she wouldn't have had it any other way. Staci you are all in my prayers and if we could Chance and I would come up to NC and give you the gentle hugs I'm sure your family is giving you right now. Even though Josi has gone on to the next step in her journey she will always be watching and waiting for her Mom and Dad to come home. With parents like you guys, I don't doubt for a minute she will be with you always. You guys did everything and more that you could for her that's why she defied the odds and hung on as long as she did. We love you both and we are praying for you during your sad time, but please know even though we only know each other through this forum we are all here for you always. Take care of yourselves.

Miss Josi please watch over your parents, you know how much they miss you and are lost without you, send them gentle breezes so they know you made it to the Bridge and you are watching over them and you will be there when there journey takes them there.
