Quick update for today...Diamond is doing well. She even took a dip in the pond earlier, no swimming but she got her feet wet. She still gets worn out very easily and isn't in the mood to play, but we don't really expect that for awhile. Her dr's appointment is tomorrow, I will let you guys know how things go! Thanks so much for everything you guys have done!!

Good update

Diamond's trip to the vet went well, she was scared and got a little excited but everything is good. Her blood volume and hematocrit are back to normal, although her kidney function isn't normal yet it is improving. She finishes her antibiotics in the morning and he doesn't want to put her on anything else. He says he doesn't need to see her again unless something goes haywire in the next week or so! She's still somewhat sore but seems to work it out with a quick walk around the yard. He still doesn't want her overdoing herself but she seems to know when she needs to stop! I'm so happy the way things have turned out and I still have my baby! Looks like the road to recovery is going to be a much better one than I had thought!

I've been following all your posts and I am SO SO glad to hear Diamond is on the road to recovery and doing so well. I've been talking to my kids about all this. They ask me every day if you have posted updates!! They will be excited to hear this one!!

Wow, what a roller-coaster ride. I just read the post (all 8 pgs of good thoughts! and stunning heartbreak :( ) and my heart is pounding. Thank God it seems like things are going to work out. You must be exhausted! Just a thought on trying to put some weight back on your beautiful baby...when Sammi was going through one of her stomach problem episodes (no comparison to what you guys have gone through) and lost a bit of weight, I gave her a little Nutri-Cal every day for about 2 weeks. I figured it's got all the nutrients babies need to grow healthy, and it worked wonderfully. All good thoughts are coming your way from me and my babies, Sammi and Max.
PS - Aren't the people on this website amazing? Kudos to all of you!!!
