My hubby even sent me a text msg on my phone last night while I was at work to tell me that Diamond's kidneys were going downhill.
You guys have made me cry once again. 2BoxersnOhio...your husband did it this time (made me cry!). It's amazing how much you all have touched my heart and Diamond's as well. I have been telling her about all of you and how much you have been thinking about her and praying for her.
She is starting to adjust being back at home, I think she was a little scared at first. She did fine in the car ride home and she just has a few meds from the vet. He told me that she has been a day and night job and one of the hardest of his career. But they came to love her and saw how much I loved her and knew they weren't going to let her go. She's a little jittery about things around here so we are trying not to do anything sudden or loud to scare her. I think her vision is actually improving quite a bit, she saw one of our other dogs from the car about 40 yards away. She's very sleepy but hesitant to actually lay down and sleep so I rub her ears to relax her and she just lays right on top of me. She's being showered with hugs and kisses as we all missed her more than she could imagine. We sat around last night and looked at pics, cried, and talked about some funny things she had done, and also about how much we missed her. We really didn't think she would pull through the kidney failure. He is still worried about her kidneys and wants to see her next week...I just have to keep a close watch over her for the warning signs that she may be going into failure again. As I write she is on the bed sawing some logs and looks very glad to be at home again. Thank you all once again for all of your prayers and support, you may never know how much you have touched my heart. I thank God for all of you!
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as there are going to be some difficult days ahead of us.
