We had this on the shopping list as I thought the other day if I needed to apply the brakes quickly Shakira and Ebbie would go flying around. I wonder how people can justify hauling their poor furbabies in the back of pick up trucks, I would think they would fly around no matter what.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your family's beloved Pepper. We send healing vibes and hope that your sister and her husband are mending. This is such a sad thing to hear about.

The seatbelt/harness issue has been discussed before on BW, and sometimes it isn't until something tragic happens that we realize how very important it is that our loved ones, skin and fur, are secured when riding in a vehicle. Thank you for sharing your story, and also reminding us all that we simply cannot take our babies for a ride without their harnesses, and that we all need to buckle up!!

We always use seatbelts for both Apollo and Cami. The first couple of times they didn't know what was going on. We would put the seatbelts on as we said "go for ride" and quickly, we would just put the seat belts on and they would get excited. Now, they know that they don't get to ride unless they have their seatbelts on. Even if it is just to the store, they HAVE to wear them. I don't want anything to happen to them as i wouldn't be able to take it. Our sympathy and healing vibes go out to you and your family!!!
