Please Help

I really need your help. I have a beatiful white male boxer, who is now 4. He curenntly lives with my ex. I was told just a little while ago that if I do not come get him, that he will shot him, or through him out. I need to place him somewhere, I live in INdinana. Please if you can help me, send me a private message. THanks

Why is it that you can't just go get him for the time being? If he's threatening to shoot him then go get him! Turn the computer off and make some phone calls. The least you can do is take him to a shelter. I hope I don't come across as being mean, I just want that poor dog out of the hands of someone so cruel.

Oh how horrible for you. I would go and pick him up right away and then contact the local boxer rescue if you or relatives can't keep him.

Gary and I planned on getting another in a month or two but if its that urgent and he is in danger we will take him, the only thing is we are in VA and can only drive an hour or so due to Gary's accident he cant be out of the house for too long. If someone can help with transport we can take him.

Can you give more details? Can't you go get him? If you get him can you keep him a couple of days? I am in Ohio and we have thought about getting another boxer but have recently changed our minds...are you just looking for a temporary home?

Sorry I should have made myself clear, I am going down to VA in a couple days, I leave on the 24. Thats why I asked if anyone lives here, cause I am bringing him here. I love him so much, I know that I can't take care of him as he needs to be.

:confused: So are you saying that if you can get him back you still won't keep him because you can't take care of him? So ultimately you're going to give him up?

Is he in VA now or are you bringing him to VA? I would be more then happy to take him in and give him a good home as long as he gets along with female dogs.

Yes, I think it would be better if I would give him to someone who could take care of him, rather thatn have him myself and not be able to feed him.Yes, Bailey is in VA now

Well if we can get him to Chesapeake VA then he would have a wonderful home with two other boxers and a little ankle bitter. Im a stay at home mom and we have a large fenced in back yard. He would be loved and very well taken care of. You can email me with the email address I pm'ed you with.
