play dates in Houston, TX

I'll be out there around 8:30 then...hopefully we'll run across the other guys I've met out there...I forget their names, but I know their boxer's names were Junior, Brandy, and Ace.

 

[Hadley's]

Hadley and I will be there but I doubt we will get there before 9. Hopefully I will be able to find you guys. Surely.

I have no idea what I will be wearing. Hadley's young, lean with a ten foot tongue sloppin' around.

I have never been there before. I know that there are directions somewhere else on this thread; I'll find them. But I do have one question: Do I need to bring anything special (like papers)?

No. Just make sure the collar has the rabies tag. I am so excited. I will be wearing white and I bought a visor (also white). Just look for the pink fuzzy visor. I will :D

 

[Hadley's]

I was thinking the same thing! How old is Hadley? Sam is 1 year and 5 months.

Sorry, I just saw this post. Hadley was born on St. Patty's Day (a real lucky dog) last year so he is going on 15 months. So yeah... about the same age. Are y'all going to be able to make it to the park tomorrow? It would be so funny to see the lil' twins play.

We were out there yesterday, don't know if I met any of you without realizing it! There were several boxers out there while we were there, and they all seemed to want to run around in a pack together!

If you saw Sam you would remember him, he was the one covered in mud! He wouldn't go in the water, but sure had a blast playing in the mud. He was just covered by the time we left! We were out there from about 10:00-12:00.

We will be going back, Sam just had so much fun!!!

We were out there Saturday morning. We met Patty (Prosas) and Zeus and Robin and Hadley. There were also many other boxers and their owners there. When I think in total there were about 10 boxers through out the time we were there. When we left there were a pack forming :D 6 or 7 boxers got together. It was great! I am so looking forward to next Sunday (and Mailani too ).

I only snapped one picture. Next time I will try and do more so we can post them in the gallery.

i think zeus had a blast...as usual. *sigh*
can you say "TIRED"?? i think he slept for the rest of the weekend. he wouldn't leave his cool spot on the tiled floor near the a/c vent. *laugh*
i was glad to meet so many out there...i couldn't believe the number of boxers that we met. hopefully there'll be the same amount, if not more, on sunday....spread the word!!

Ok. Just checking in. Making sure we are still going to try and make it this Sunday. Mailani and I will be there. We are going to get there a little early 8:30 am but we will stay a while (long while). I think we stayed till about 11:30 or so Saturday.

I told everyone who was there Saturday that we were coming back on Sunday. Hopefully they will be able to make it. Even the ones with puppies.
They were just amazed with Mailani when she was trying to play with the pups. Mailani would get on her back and let the puppies play with her (ahhh my little girl). lovicon There were a few times it looked like she was trying to be a block against the pups and the larger doggies.

We are planning on being there on Sunday. Sam just had so much fun last time, and we got such a kick out of watching him. There were 2 other boxers there at the same time and the 3 of them managed to find each other and run around in a little "boxer pack" together.

I think we will be there between 9:00 and 10:00 unless my husband can get himself up and moving earlier!

I am still planning on being there Sunday morning. I will (agian) be sporting the fuzzy pink astro's visor; that's what Celeste (silverstar) looked for last weekend. Zeus will probably still be wearing the black leather studded collar. (that's if he doesn't bust it between now and then-he's too rough)
