"Pinch biting "at my feet

My wonderful floppy 5 month old Peg insists on "playing" with my feet when I walk. If I am barefooted my toes get a good pinch and it hurts! She thinks it
is histerical, I can tell. She bats at my feet with her paws also. If i wear shoes it is not so bad pain wise but I trip over her!

i have told her "No" "Stop It", tried to ignore it, stood still, everything I can think of. Any ideas? Does anyone elses boxer do this "pinch" biting? Not really biting, more like pinching.

Mine does the same thing. She is almost a year now. It's as if she goes through it in phases. Sometimes she will nip, swat or even nudge at my feet when I'm walking. I've told her no so many times, but it's as if it is a game to her. I'm the only one that she does it to, which drives me crazy.

thank god im not alone, niko use to do this ALOT til about a month ago. he is almost 7 months. i use to just give him "time outs" cause nothing else seemed to be working. after a while he slowed down. he is much better now

My husband thinks its funny as Peg does not go after his feet. Wonder what the difference is.

LOL, Kirra tries this with me too. I stop dead in my tracks and tell her "uh, uh" or "leave it", when she does I say "goooood girl" - I then get her interested in a toy. She rarely does it with me now. DH on the other hand says "uh, uh" and keeps walking - so she keeps grabbing. I tell him to stop walking - I think DH is finally learning .

Ohhh this makes me laugh because Koda does the same thing. :D I have so many holes in my lounge pants from him playing with me feet. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen because of him. He's such a goof. Koda mainly goes after my feet but he will try and play with my husbands also.

Koda especially loves my feet after I have put on lotion or my body moisturizer. He loves it....crazy dog....

Siren does this to my husband, but not to me. She doesn't do it all the time, just when she wants to play..and he plays a lot more than I do. Even when he's sitting in a chair - she will go after his idle feet. It cracks me up. He tells her No and she stops. He also laughs when he does it, so I don't know if that helps or hinders his authority - but he can't help it. She's so funny when she does it!

Champ with a foot fetish

Champ is a one year old male and seems to love feet. Ever since he was a puppy he was gone after shoelaces or pantlegs. I have tried various things to make him stop it just dont seem to work. Champ also loves to get his toys and while you are relaxing with your feet up in the recliner rest his front paws on your legs and play right by your feet. I surely know where you are comming from.

She does have a strong Prey drive

Yep, she has as strong prey drive and I am trying to redirect as she does love to fetch, play frisbee etc. I just need to work on directing it. I guess I need to just work with her more. Thanks

Our Lennox does this also. He loves to bite and wrestle with our feet. We will tell him, "NO" or we try to distract him with a toy. When he becomes too wild we will walk away and go to another room. My husband and I have lost several pairs of socks and pants to this behavior. Lennox is 9 months old.
