Pillow Digger

Does anyone have any idea why my boxer all at once goes crazy and starts digging her pillow? I mean, she gets obsessed!! Fuzzy stuff start flying while she's digging. Eveyone starts yellling at her because we're afraid she's going to tear the pillow, plus she's noisey. She doesn't do this all the time, but enough to drive us crazy.

Beau used to dig in the couch like that when I first got him, but he has stopped. I would divert him with another toy or entice him to get off the couch when he was doing that and he eventually quit!

Shotze does this too. She will "dig" her blanket or the couch until it feels right to her, then she lays down.I dont know why they do it, but it can get annoying at times.

Kayla always does it.She alwaysdoes it to her dads pillow and her bed pillow.

Capone does the same thing all the time he digs at his blankets moving them all around until he has it were he wants it. He looks like a mad dog and there is no way to get him to stop.He has flip his bed over once doing this but has never riped it.

Lennox does this to the couch also...he digs and digs until it almost sounds like he's ripping it apart! I have to grab his toy and bribe him off of the couch. He has already ripped apart one of my cushoins from the couch so I dont need the couch destroyed to.

Charlie mostly does this after his bath but yeah he's a frequent pillow digger.

Yes, Hogan does this too. He pulls the bed out of his crate and does it to that, he does it to his big fluffy round bed, he does it to the couch (ripped two holes in it), does it to their futon out in the garage and does it on our bed as well. I don't know why either, but we try to deter it and that doesn't help much. I think he will out grow it because Hilda doesn't do it at all.

My boy (15 weeks) does that as well. It seems to be evrytime i wash his covers and bed he goes crazy and starts digging!! He loves playing in anything dirty and smelly so i have to wash his covers at least once a week!!

 

[Evie&Adam]

Adam will dig in his bedtime pillow til he gets comfy. He does it to the couch when there is a toy he cant get to. Luckily, he has never caused any damage
