What awesome pictures!! I've always thought seagulls were pretty neato, I'm just too scared to actually take my attention away from the entire flock (to get a picture) of them for a millisecond because of a bad thing that happenned to me when I was younger (I was at the beach, feeding the seagulls, and I made the mistake of looking up at the wrong time...if you know what I mean)!

Very cool pictures! Thanks for sharing!

Those are GREAT pics.I love the action shots. But I hate seagulls in real life. My daughter was holding a hot dog once and a seagull flew down and stole the hotdog right out of the bun!

I like seagulls, especially their noise ;)
The photo with the sunset behind was taken another day. It was a photo easy to take as it wasn't moving. My camera has a slow autofocus which is bad when you have moving subjects so only 10% of photos are ok, the rest is out of focus.
Jan: I did not feed them myself, I had an assistant. Taking photos of them is hard enough :)
Haley and Mark: I can understand you. I am still not sure if it was 100% rain or not when it started to rain with all the seagulls above me...
Roosje: I still have the Nikon Coolpix 5000 and will keep it until it dies, but I am very interested by the D70... Maybe for the end of the year!
