hehe, just caught this thread. reading about everyone else's pet peeves really makes me feel better.... cause i know i'm not the only one that can't stand something!
i work in customer service and i hate it when people are on their phones, and they still expect you to say "excuse me, can i get you something?" i skip them, and help the person next in line that is ready and paying attention. then the person that was on the phone is like "excuse me, i was next" no you weren't you were too busy for me... so wait. grrrr... happens AT LEAST once a day. i want to put up a sign that says something about talking on cell phones = no service from us.
i also hate ALL drivers. drivers that are reckless, drivers that are overly cautious, people who don't wear their seatbelts (i lost 2 friends from this, so i'm a huge advocate for seatbelt use now), people that don't signal, people who don't use the middle turning lane, or get all the way over in the lane, so you are forced to go on the shoulder to pass them, people who block intersections, like i said ALL DRIVERS.

i hate it when people read over my shoulder (BF just did this...

... now he's mad at me for writing this)
people who ask stupid questions, (once i was working at a restaurant and someone seriously asked me what the difference was between a quarter pounder and half pounder... my response was "about a quarter of a pound")
people who are not aware of their surroundings.
people who go the wrong way in the parking lot (there are big yellow arrows on the road for a reason)
wow... and now i'm getting annoyed at myself cause i have so many pet peeves.
