I want to buy a palm pilot soon. I don't have any idea what are the good ones.... What features should I look for? I need to get organized and maybe this will help me! The only reason I am not organized is because I don't have one. I was looking at one with the phone in it; has anyone had experience with these?

I was looking at the Handspring Visor; it looks the most user-friendly and has the features I would be looking for. A friend was showing me his palm pilot and he did mention the same as you, Olly, that the memory is a big feature as well as the battery. I just bought an organizer for the new year and I am still disorganized. The electronic organizer seems to be the key and if I can get the phone built in, that would be one less thing to carry.
I will do my research and will make sure everyone knows which one I want before my birthday (in March).

Disorganization is a woman thing, even a Handspring Visor won't help you! LOL Don't you want to have a coffee maker built in too? :D

Olly-
They DID have a palm pilot at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas a few weeks ago that communicated with your utilities in the house and I want the one that tells my coffee maker to go on before I wake up in the morning, turns the stereo on, sets the jacuzzi water to 104 before I get home from work, and uncorks the wine bottle, then makes sure the house is clean. OH!! But wait! That is not a Palm Pilot! nonoicon That's what a man is for!

And besides, I may be disorganized but my car has 220 horse power and yours only 55 so there!

I also remember a washer you can program from the net. I will try to find the web site about it.

PS: I do not need more than 55 horse power to drive fast, I leave in time ;)

The sad truth is, I do all of those things. I just talk a big game until I hire a housekeeper or a houseboy.:) LOL

Here is the link!
http://www.margherita2000.com/sito_uk/it/home.htm

>We've blended together the revolutionary Margherita 2000 washing machine with the most advanced version of the Ariston Digital system and created margherita2000.com.
The result is an unrivaled perfectly balanced coexistance of Ariston Digital Services and the quality "machinery". Yes, it's revolutionary. And yes, it actually does the wash. margherita2000.com is a clever appliance that communicates through its very own website and through the GSM lines. margherita2000.com is one of the new appliances of the Ariston Digital line. It can be connected with other domestic electrical equipment and communicate with the Digital Service Center. In this way it helps manage energy consumption and make use of the Tele-assistance service.
But wait... there's more to margherita2000.com. That little ".com" at the end gives you an unimaginable potential of services. By using the Internet you can update and change wash cycles and programs so that as your needs change, your margherita2000.com changes with you.

Now you know what to ask to your husband :)

Hey! I'm a local friend of Elsa's and Ruby's Auntie. I lurk here from time to time and felt the need to set the record straight on the PalmPilot-Organization issue. Elsa wants so bad to be organized, she actually bought a giant organizer and carries it around, along with a giant purse, the organizer is too big to actually fit in the purse though. What she does with the organizer is shoves pieces of paper in it, the same as she would have with the purse. SO, she does need a PalmPilot/Handspring in a big way. I vote for the Handspring Visor because it's made by the actual inventor of the PalmPilot who left the 3m-USRobitics company after being acquired by them and I believe that the Handspring company is going to be on the cutting edge of hand-held organizers when it comes down to it.

Olly, is there anything you *Need* to know about Elsa that she hasn't disclosed? I'd be happy to play double agent here!!
