Ozzie has passed

Thanks to everyone very, very much for your kind words and condolences. We're still in the initial shock stage, no question about that. It's so quiet here...and the size of the area in my room that used to accommodate his crate seems the size of a football field.

I never used a crate myself but I take your point! I used to stare at the righthand dog bed where Gunther used to sleep...well sleep till 8:00, then he'd go "wow" look at the time! Then off he go to the bedroom to hop in the bed! Now there is an empty spot on the left side of the living room where Struddell used to be! :(

Thanks once again to all of you who have responded. Your support is very much appreciated. There will never be another Ozzie, but we have decided on one thing: There will be a 5th Boxer here soon appicon to help this black hole we're currently living in feel more like home again.

That's what I believe also, same color as Ozzie or different color?

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand how hard it is to lose a furry family member that has been around more than decade. Thor was 12 when we said goodbye to him just two months ago.

I am excited for you to be looking at pups, even if there isn't a fawn male. If the right one is there, he/she will let you know.

No, there will never be another Ozzie, but there will be a new little maniac running around that will set a new beginning. Ozzie will live on with the new pup as our puppy reminds us so much of our Heidi. Godspeed Ozzie.
