Boxer Booster
We're bringing home our first Boxer puppy in a week. I came up with the most perfect name for him a few months ago when we decided to get a Boxer. Our family just LOVES Disney's movie "The Emperor's New Groove". We can quote the whole movie. Kronk is one of our favorite characters. He's big and strong and kind of stupid ... but makes really great spinach puffs! He's the side kick of the the evil villain, Isma, who is scarey beyond all reason. He does everything she says and doesn't know any better than to help her in her evil plan to kill the emporer and take charge of the kingdom. (Until the end when he realizes what he's doing is wrong and helps save the day!)
So, anyways, when we decided to get a male Boxer and the name Kronk came to mind ... I just knew it was the perfect name for our new boy. My sister, who also loves that movie, just loves that name idea and said if we didn't use it, she would use it for her next male dog. But while this name doesn't suit just any dog, it suits a Boxer perfectly. And she agrees.
And that's how I named my dog ... that I don't even have yet! (Gotta run out and get his name tag made up!)
